Mental Health Awareness module for BD Coaches
Riders Minds have been thrilled to be working alongside British Dressage on the addition of the Coach Mental Health Awareness sub module, to their online educational resources.
The resources are part of innovative British Dressage Learning Hub, which includes the three part Mental Health and Wellbeing course designed for members, which was launched earlier this year, and the Riders Mental Health Awareness sub module launched in May at the end of Mental Health Awareness Week.
The content for these modules has been developed by the BD Training & Education team and Mental Health Coach and Riders Minds Consultant, Sylvia Bruce.
Sylvia commented,
“Working with BD on their mental health and wellbeing learning initiative is awesome, and, a huge privilege. It’s wonderful to be involved with such a forward thinking organisation, and there’s two more modules to come too! I really hope BD’s initiative sets a precedent for other equestrian organisations to follow.”
The Learning Hub provides BD members with a stream of engaging, educational content for members at all stages, and supports coaches in achieving their annual CPD requirements, covering a variety of topics.
